Course size:
We have a 300m/150m loop available or you may dip in the area next to the pontoon.

Swim time:
Swimming is not currently time limited – you may swim until 5 minutes before the end of the session.
All timeslots show the start time for your booking except for the final timeslot which shows the start and end time.
If you book the last timeslot of the session, you must be out of the water at least 5 minutes before the end of the slot.
If you wish to swim longer, please ensure you choose an earlier timeslot.

Bookings:
Please ensure you check the day and time before you book.
Swim bookings are non-transferable. Refunds may be offered under certain conditions.

Swimming with children:
Water temperature must be above 15 degrees.

Wetsuits:

Inductions:
Cold Water Inductions are required between November 1 - 31 March or whenever the water temperature drops below 15 degrees. If you’ve previously completed the NOWCA Cold Water Induction (online or onsite) this should be marked against your profile (check with your Venue Manager onsite). If you haven’t completed the induction before, you will need to do this before swimming at the venue in the winter season.

Respect Swimmers’ Privacy – Photography Guidance
To ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable at our swimming sessions, we kindly ask all swimmers and visitors to respect the privacy of others.
• Please do not take photographs or videos of anyone without their explicit consent.
• Photography and filming are strictly prohibited in changing areas, toilets, and showers.
• If you wish to take photos of your friends or family, please ensure you have their permission and that no one else is captured in the background without their agreement.
• For the safety and privacy of children and vulnerable adults, additional restrictions may apply. Official photography (for club or event purposes) will only take place with prior consent and will be communicated in advance.
• Underwater / professional photography is not allowed without permission of Love Open Water

NOWCA membership:
All Love Open Water venues are NOWCA affiliated venues. This means, you must be a NOWCA member to swim.
NOWCA membership gives you access 40+ venues around the country as well as a range of other benefits.

You should sign up and pay the membership fee on ACTiO and then book an activity or event at any affiliated venue.

When you arrive for your first swim, you will be issued with a NOWCA wristband which you must wear every time you swim. You must tap in and out of water and let the onsite staff know how far you’ve swum when you tap out. Your swim stats will be available following the session. Please allow up to 12 hours to receive your stats email.

Please note: NOWCA provides an integrated booking, safety & venue management system for open water venues. Events and activities offered via the system are done so by Love Open Water and NOWCA has no part in the organisation or management of these.
