Chelmarsh Sailing Club
Chelmarsh Sailing Club are a finalist in the 2021 and 2022 RYA Club of the Year.
The reservoir is a stunning piece of water filled from the River Severn and used for drinking water by South Staffs our landlords.
We have worked over the last years to introduce Open Water Swimming which must be ONLY at the agreed session times and supported by safety cover as the reservoir is deep water.Swimming is free to club members but must be booked in advance. NOWCA members can swim booking through actio.
No powerboats are used during swim sessions and safety cover is provided by our active SUP club.
Toilets are available and great changing rooms and hot showers. Please observe social distancing and clean showers after use so everyone can feel comfortable using inside facilities.
