Orchard Holiday Park & Fishery - Wild Swimming

Wild swim in a quiet, beautiful countryside location, well away from main roads. 2.5 miles from Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire.
130m course is perfect for all; from triathletes, intermediate to beginners. The pool does have trout in, but these pose no danger and generally will keep away from you.

Summer Season: beginning of May – end of September/early October (weather/temp permitting).

Water quality tested monthly – consistently rated “EXCELLENT”.
0.3 acre nursery pool, spring fed stream.
Sessions are lifeguarded.
FREE hardstanding car park for swimmers, approx. 115m walk.
Shared toilet/shower block by main reception – limited space.
Changing poolside, please arrive with swim stuff on.
Approx. 130m swim course.
Entry/exit point – rubber matted slope with hand rail.

EACH SWIMMER MUST:
Be (or become) a NOWCA member.
Book online, prior to the session.
Have their NOWCA wristband; or collect it (for new members).
Have and use tow floats. (Hire CASH ONLY).
Have and use brightly coloured headwear. (Buy CASH ONLY).
Be physically and mentally fit, with no pre-existing medical conditions and can swim 200m confidently.
Understand and accept the risks associated with wild swimming.
Have suitable clothing (no skinny dipping).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- 18+ ADULTS ONLY swimming.
- Tow floats and brightly coloured hats are compulsory.
- Wetsuits recommended when its below 22 degrees. Clothing must be worn (no skinny dipping).
- CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel or amend a swim session, payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. If we cancel a swim session, it will be refunded as ONE swim credit for use at our venue to your account (NOT a refund of monies).
