Based in the heart of Oxfordshire, at Queenford Lakes in Oxford we swim in the lake year round during dedicated sessions, supervised by a safety team. Our time tables and operations change between Winter and Summer to the conditions and temperatures.

Open water wild swimming in a safe environment, run for swimmers by swimmers our timetable is:-

SUMMER TIMETABLE resumes 31/3/2025 - 21/9/2025 - (Hours may vary with daylight etc.)
Monday - 1800-2000/Sunset
Wednesdays - 0600-0845
Thursday - 1800-2000/Sunset (From May15th)
Sundays - 0700-0945


WINTER TIMETABLE - BOOKING via the www.SwimScan.com  is COMPULSORY
Sundays - 8-10am in October
Sundays - 8.30 - 10.00 am from 5/11 till 7/4

- Wetsuits OPTIONAL.
- Bright swim caps/hats & tow floats COMPULSORY

Whether you are a competitive swimmer, a triathlete or just enjoy "wild swimming", Oxford Wakeboard & Ski Club invite you to make use of our open water swim sessions.
Facilities
- Well marked out 350/500/750/1000m loops.
- Free parking on the grass, accessed via Drayton Road - follow signs for Open water swimming and Wet and Wild
- Ideal location for triathletes who would like to go cycling after their swim and leave their cars. We are right on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, which are ideal for on and off road cycling.
- Outdoor lake - side shower to rinse off after your swim. Toilets.
- For those of you who would like to bring your families along while you swim there is a short (1.3 miles) and long (2.3 mile) cross country run loop around the lake.
- Wandering Kitchen cafe on site

Instruction
