Swim Pennington

Pennington Flash is a 70 hectare lake, situated within Greater Manchester.
The lake was formed due to mining subsidence and is a perfect example of land recovering from its industrial past. The Flash is part of Greater Manchester's only National Nature Reserve.

Location
We operate from Leigh and Lowton Sailing Club, situated at the western end of Pennington Flash. near Leigh in Lancashire, within easy reach of the M6 and the A580 East Lancs road. Green Lane, Lowton, Warrington, WA3 1BQ.

The club offers:

Courses
Course sizes range from 200M - 1.1kM, with the addition of the 1.9kM course in the run up to Bolton Ironman.
