**Swimmers need to be aware that they are swimming at their own risk, and confirm that they have no illness, injury and are competent open water swimmers**

Payment must be made through the app to ensure a place on the session. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN BOOKING AS BOOKINGS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE &. NO REFUNDS ARE POSSIBLE FOR CANCELLATIONS ON THE DAY OF THE BOOKED SWIM

In order to maintain the tranquillity of the lake - and to comply with planning regulations we have restricted bookings to 25 people per slot. Time slots will be 1 hour long but if you wish to swim longer than this it may be possible if the next session has slots available> There will be no extra charge for this if you contact us first. .We ask that you do not arrive earlier than ten minutes before your time slots and if possible do not leave until 5 minutes past the hour, in order to allow the next intake in and prevent crossing in the narrow lane. The exception to this is the last session where you may leave whenever you wish



There will be at least one on-water lifeguard at all times


SWIMMING WILL BE AT THE INDIVIDUALS OWN RISK.

Beginners to open water, those un-acclimatized to cold water, suffering from serious medical conditions in particular related to the heart or those at risk of seizures will be advised not to swim for their own safety and that of our staff.

There are three marked out routes to choose from: approx 360m: (turn at white buoys) approx 490m (turn at red buoys) and approx 880m (full course turning at all yellow buoys). Added to these loop distances is the swim to and from the first buoy which adds an extra 200m approx and this needs to be taken into consideration when planning your swim to ensure these distances are within your capability.

Swimmers can exit the water at any time within their time slot

Male and Female changing rooms are provided. There is a chemical toilet available, and a cold water shower via a fresh water hosepipe

Walk-Up Policy

Walk ins are permitted as long as there are slots available but are not guaranteed so booking via the app is highly recommended


Refund Policy

There will be no refunds if an individual fail to show for their booking. Demand for places will be high and so not showing for a slot takes away the opportunity for another member to swim.

A swim will cost £7 per visit, or alternatively you can bulk buy your swims 10 swims for £63.
One off Guest Swims are available at £10 per slot

All swimmers must wear their NOWCA Safety Wristband every time they swim. If you forget yours we can supply a temporary band for use for that swim only. Lost bands are chargeable at £3

DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THE LAKE

THERE IS STRICT 10MPH SPEED LIMIT IN THE PRIVATE LANE LEADING TO THE LAKE. THIS IS TO ENSUIRE THE SAFETY OF OTHER WALKERS AND USERS OF THE NARROW LANE
